John Evans Recruiting is conducting a search for a Director of HR for a manufacturing client in Howard County, MD. This PE-backed organization has locations in multiple states and is growing rapidly past 300 employees through acquisitions in 2025. Our client is seeking both a hands-on and strategic Director to oversee a team of 3 HR professionals.
The Director of HR must be onsite Monday-Friday at the Howard County facility and must fill in as a back-up as needed for payroll.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of HR experience
- Manufacturing/distribution industry experience
- Experience leading payroll
- Experience in a company growing through acquisitions is strongly preferred
- ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred
- Marketing industry experience is a plus
- Private equity exposure is a plus
